Cove Bag 11L

I. Love. This. Bag.

Makes me feel cool and hip when doing errands but it also goes with my office wear. It holds so much! I’ve been able to pack it with a wooly sweater with the rest of my EDC items.

If the design team were to ask for my opinion, I’d make these few suggestions:
- make the bag multi-directional. I had to switch how I wear my bag bc of the exterior and side pocket location. Would love to have the option to wear it on my right shoulder too.

- have the ability to purchase add-ons for storage options on the exterior. This is how I was stowing my sunglasses when on walks/biking but I don’t think the tag was meant for this. Loops for carabiners or slide-on pockets for the strap would be much appreciated!

This is the Cove 11L bag in Avocado. It’s a very well-made bag! You can tell they put a lot of work into making it. They use quality material that will hold up in all types of weather. It’s perfect for traveling or just everyday. I especially love the outside water bottle pocket. I love all of the features, but I do wish there was an inside zippered pouch/pocket. That’s not a make-or-break issue though. I bought my own zipper pulls because my husband surprised me and I wanted the orange pulls. He didn’t know that and it came with the “Drab” pulls. But the pulls it comes with are sturdy. Overall, it’s a great bag and worth the price. I’m already looking at Shadowlite for summer!

I originally bought this as a travel purse. I like a small, lightweight bag to pack in my backpack for travel to use as a purse at my destination. This far exceeded my expectations, and I'm using it every day. I love the outside pocket because things don't slip out.

I don't ever write reviews, and frankly, I think most of them are fake anyway. But this bag is legit. One heads-up though: the women in the ads are small, and the bag looks big on them. It's a large bag, but it isn't quite as big as a messenger bag as it appears in some of the pics/videos.

Obsessed! Perfect slightly larger size without being a full on messenger bag. It can hold my water bottle, wallet, kindle, keys, phone, multiple snacks, an kombucha, and my beach towel. Best part is sand doesn’t stick to this material so I never track sand home or have to brush it off.

I purchased this for a trip I have coming up, but since I got it I haven’t used any other bag I own. It’s the perfect daily adventure bag. I personally love the shadow lite with the orange pop of color. Goes with everything and very gorp core.

Big fan of the key leash and the two internal pockets as well.

Last year I needed a new bag and was in between this and another company. I ended up going with the other company, and was severely disappointed by that bag. When Alpine Sea dropped the plum color I instantly purchased the 11L cove bag. It came quickly and I was instantly in love! It's super light weight, folds up small for travel, it's extremely durable material, fits all of my things AND my water bottle. I took this bag on two international trips (Europe & South America) and it was THE PERFECT bag! I put my passport in the front zip pocket for easy access and I was comfortably able to carry my essentials. I love this bag!

In love with the shape and color of this bag. This will be my new go to travel bag! Holds all of the essentials plus my iPad. Love how lightweight and comfy this bag feels even when it’s fully loaded. Already purchased the 3L + 6L in the same plum color :)

The quality is even better than I expected!! It’s so cute and convenient and holds TONS! I want 12!

Needed a little smaller bag for everyday use. Love that this one can go on the shoulder or cross body. Love that it’s waterproof. Sleek design and still has some much needed pockets. Thought it was cool I could choose the color of my zipper pulls. Liked all the color options of the bags too. Went with Dune and the orange pull and am enjoying the color combo.

Great bag! I use it for traveling and daily life. it’s the perfect one-bag. The water bottle slot is a total game changer. I only wish this bag had a large internal pocket that zips.

This is my all-time favorite bag. It almost never leaves my shoulder. I'm considering ordering a second color / will definitely get one as a gift for a friend.
PROS -
+ LOVE the key leash
+ The water bottle sleeve is fantastic
+ It's SO lightweight
+ It's perfectly spacious
+ I love that the main zipper opens from front to back (had a couple of bags that opened the opposite direction and that was super annoying)
+ I love the inside pockets on each end
+ I love that the interior fabric is a light color so I can see everything
+ I also love the 1L popcorn I ordered. (Although, I wish I ordered the 3L Medium Popcorn).

Things I would love to see in an updated version: + I would really love an interior zipper pocket on the side closest to your body - zipper opening from front to back.
+ The phone pocket is not quite as useful as I had hoped. I have an iphone pro max (not sure the model # -maybe 15) and it's a tight squeeze with the pelacase phone case I have. Also, having the zipper on the inside means I have to load the phone into the pocket with my left hand. I'm sure it was designed to have the zipper on the inside to minimize pick pocketing but it makes the use of the pocket a little more cumbersome. It would be great to either switch the pocket opening to the outside and/or increase the bag depth by even an 1/8" or 1/4" so there's more space to load a larger phone.

As I'm leaving this review, I'm realizing this might be very inconsiderate of south paw friends. This would probably get too complicated for small batch companies but I wonder is left handed people would appreciate a version where they could wear the bag on their left side.

Anyway, huuuuge fan of this bag.

Also, shoutout to the founders! They run the customer support and they're so kind and helpful! Really impressive when founders are running every aspect of the business from product design / manufacturing to customer support. This is a company I feel really good about supporting :)

I really appreciate the thought that went into simplifying the design of this bag. The strap is simple and the cinching mechanism doesn’t have a bunch of extra loops and elastic to hold excess length. The zipper goes one way - the right way 😁. The phone pocket is a great ergonomic placement for me. I have a few other bags in a similar
style to this one, but this bag is so much more well designed and convenient to use. Style is also excellent. Price totally reasonable. No issues!

I've started to take the train and needed a bag big enough to hold everything essential once my backpack goes up above. I shopped hard for a roomy shallow crossbody. While the Eco Grid Dune is a yummy caramel, two things clinched it for me--the recycled content and Made in the USA. I'm a 68 yo grandma of 3.

Definitely in my rotation of bags! Love the real tree camo, the overall shape and the sneaky side pocket for my kinto travel mug.

I use a separate little organizer thing for all my cables and nic-nacs, but overall everything fits in the bag.

My only complaint is the strap, it is not as easy to adjust because it gets “caught” on the adjuster buckle, most times I need to take it off and adjust it then put it back on again.

This bag is perfection.

Overall really great bag. I wish there was a zipper pocket inside the main compartment but the smaller pockets are ok. Comfortably fits a 32oz hydro flask or a full bottle of wine (750ml).
